2017 Reading Challenge Soiree

If you participated in the Windsor Library 2017 Reading Challenge, would like to participate in 2018, or just like books, you are welcome to attend! Library staff will discuss books they read for the 2017 Challenge and topics for 2018 will be announced. All those in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card and other prizes.

“I’m wondering what to read next.” – Matilda, Roald Dahl

Make this year about expanding your reading horizons. You’ll see new perspectives, feel new emotions, and learn new truths. We are not challenging to read specific books, but to read different kinds of books that you may not have otherwise picked up. Our staff at the library has compiled a list of 12 categories for you to choose from throughout the year. They do not have to be read in order. They do not need to be read at a certain time. There is no test at the end. We’re simply hoping that you’ll join us as we venture out into the reading landscape and explore. You can pick up a copy of the challenge at either library  or by downloading it from our website at windsorlibrary.com. Join the conversation by telling us what you’re reading or by following any of our social media pages. Okay, on your mark, get set, read!
