Bottle Cap Art & Jewelry   May 25 ~ 3:30 PM
Let your jewelry do the talking!  Come to the WPL to learn how to make pins, necklaces, & magnets out of bottle caps.  Using a few recycled supplies, we will make unique mini-statements that help others know a little (or a lot!) about you.  This free program will run from 3:30 – 4:30 PM at the main branch of the WPL.

Tie-Dye Shoelaces    July 8 ~ 3:30 PM
Learn a revolutionary dyeing technique that will change your life (or at least your wardrobe!) – Come to the WPL to create your own Tie-Dye Shoelaces!  We will provide each participant with one new, white cotton pair of athletic-style laces.  If you would like to personalize more than one set, go ahead bring your own additional pairs.  This free program will run from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. 

Bubble Paper Making     July 22 ~ 3:30 PM
Design your own stationary, make some art for your room, or create a unique book cover for the next school year – learn how to create Bubble Paper at the WPL!  We’ll teach you the techniques and then set you free to create as little (or as many!) paper designs as you can during this hour-long program. 

Un-Dye T-Shirts      August 19 ~ 3:00 PM
Start the new school year off in style with your own unique t-shirt designs by learning how to make Un-Dyed T-Shirts at the WPL!  Come to the library from 3:00 – 4:30PM with your dark-colored t-shirts and create a hot new look using this surprising technique.  Shirts will be provided to people who register in advance.  Stop by or call (860) 285-1918 to tell us what size shirt you’ll need.  Rain Date:  August 20.
