Adult Programs
The Adult Department of Windsor Public Library offers a wide range of library services. We have a staff of trained, professional librarians who are always ready to help you find anything you need. Drop-in, phone or email us with your questions.
We have:
- Books: thousands of new & classic titles
- DVDs and Videocassettes (if you still have the tape player, we have the tapes)
- Music CDs
- Audio books on tape, CDs and Playaways
- Lots of the most recent magazines and newspapers.
- GPS systems, Sony Book Readers, and Kill-a-Watt Energy Meters.
- 20 public computers and Wi-Fi service that can be picked up all around the library.
We have a number of internet databases that are only available to our Windsor patrons.
- Learn a new language with MANGO
- Find up-to-date business information with ReferenceUSA
- Fix your car with EBSCO's Auto Repair Center
- Find the best product evaluations and guides with Consumer Reports Online
- Ace that school or employment test with LearningExpress.
- Use Overdrive to download audio books and videos to your home computer, iPod, MP3 player or E-Reader
We offer a variety of programs throughout the year: book discussions, movies on our big screen, and author visits.
And there is a terrific book sale shelf in our front lobby that is never empty and always has a fresh collection of gently used books for sale.
