The Windsor Public Library Music Makerspace is a place where children and their families can come explore musical instruments, recording equipment, music apps and other materials.
The library offers a Music Tools collection available to check out. Borrow these items to try out with your children or have music time with your home daycare/preschool class.
Check out our amazing collection which includes hundreds of music oriented picture book and non-fiction titles. You can check out titles about composition, programming, music theory, even composer biographies! Take a look at many of our titles here!

The Windsor Public Library is seeking volunteers (with or without musical experience) who have a passion for encouraging kids to explore their talents and interests! An ideal volunteer should be willing to supervise our Music Makerspace for 2 hours, set up and clean up the space as needed, and can commit to a regular schedule (holiday, weather or emergency permitting).
If you’re interested in being a volunteer please download and fill out our volunteer application here.
