The Windsor Public Library Music Makerspace is a place where children and their families can come explore musical instruments, recording equipment, music apps and other materials.
The library offers a Music Tools collection available to check out. Borrow these items to try out with your children or have music time with your home daycare/preschool class.
We currently collect Music K-8 a resource magazine perfect for elementary and middle school music teachers. Contact us about utilizing this resource.
Check out our amazing collection which includes hundreds of music oriented picture book and non-fiction titles. You can check out titles about composition, programming, music theory, even composer biographies! Take a look at many of our titles here!

Music Makerspace Drop-In Times
We currently offer opportunities to drop-in to our Music Makerspace to explore the instruments, equipment and apps we have available. These times are supervised by volunteers so please call ahead to check whether the space will be open.
Monday & Thursday evenings 6:00PM-8:00PM
Second & Third Saturday of the month 10:30am-12:30pm
We’re seeking volunteers (with our without musical experience) who have a passion for encouraging kids to explore their talents and interests. Volunteers should be willing to supervise the space for 2 hours, as well as set up or clean up the space as needed. We want to be able to offer a reliable drop-in schedule and the key to this is volunteers who are committed to a regular schedule (holiday, weather or emergency permitting). If you’re interested in being a volunteer please download and fill out our volunteer application here.
