Volunteer With Us

Volunteer with us!

Is one of your goals to be more active in your community or to give back locally?  The Windsor Public Library is now recruiting volunteers. Whether you have a few hours a week, a couple of hours a month, or even seasonal time to give, we’ve got something for you.

Are you crafty or do you know how to sew? Are you good with numbers and sorting?  Do you have a green thumb and like being outdoors? Do you love capturing those special moments with a camcorder? Are you technically savvy? How about light cleaning, bending and stretching all while supporting your public library?  We also need people willing to pick up and deliver library materials to your fellow neighbors who might be homebound.

We are in need of volunteers of all ages. Positions available in Kidspace, Teens, Adult Department, and the Wilson Branch! You should be self-motivated, dependable and above all, love your library! To find out more about possible positions or to fill out an application stop by the Main Library or Wilson Branch Library. You can also take a look at what we have to offer here and even print out an application. Please note that at this time the library does not accept court mandated community service assignments.
