Did you know the library can showcase your next art show?  With our new “Hang it up” system your show is easier than ever!  The system is simply a series of nylon cords and sliding hangers.  You choose an available month for your show; our display areas are booked by the calendar month.  If you want to book a reception, see Meeting Room for information about scheduling.  If you would like to submit a link to your website or a brief biography for our website we will be glad to post it.  Each display area may be booked once per year per artist or group.

Title: A Burst of Blooms

Artist: Grace Hanover

A love of nature and identifying creation outdoors has led Grace at an early age to pause, identify, and document her findings.  Sowing zinnia seeds, marveling at passing swallowtails, and observing the rhythms of a growing plant are where she loves and learns best.  This year she has focused on capturing flowers in detailed watercolors.  Artist Reception to be held at the library Tuesday, June 13th from 6:30-7:30 PM.  Come celebrate her creations and support her endeavors to provide a charitable gift for her Compassion International sponsored child, Ulda, from Burkina Faso.  All watercolors are available, framed, and ready for purchase.  Specimens include: Purple bearded irises, tulips, poppies, and sunflowers.
