Read-A-Thon Students registered for the Get Drawn In @ Your Library summer reading program are invited to join us for a special late-night event! Wear your pajamas, bring your pillows, and settle down in the library to finish your required reading for school or to add a few more points to your program totals. Reality Show Blitz! Join us as we celebrate the end of the Teen Summer Reading Program by participating in a challenge based on all of your favorite reality shows, from “Survivor,” to “Amazing Race,” to “Fear Factor,” to “America’s Next Top Model.” We will be physical, we will be intellectual, we will be messy (weather permitting), and we will be fun! Please wear comfortable (old) clothes and come to play for keeps. Summer Reading Prizes will be awarded and delicious food will be eaten. This exciting event is for students entering grades 6-12 who participated in the Teen Summer Reading Program. Please register in advance by calling 285-1918.

Turn those old T-shirts into new styles… without sewing.* Bring one or two old T-shirts to re-style, and we’ll provide the patterns, the know-how, and the snacks.
