    Join the Main Library and Kevin Manning an astronomer with Look Up to the Stars for Astronomy for Everyone. This presentation is an exploration of the universe from the very small to the very large, looking at matter from subatomic particles to superclusters of galaxies, and the entire universe. It's a virtual journey throughout the cosmos describing celestial objects and how they were formed as well as their relative sizes compared with each other.

  • Virtual Celebrate Cinco De Mayo Cooking Lesson by Chef Rob on FB Live

    The Windsor Public Library invites you over to our Facebook page to join Chef Rob Scott for a virtual Celebrate Cinco De Mayo on Monday, May 3 at 7:00 PM. Our menu includes Spaghetti Squash Burrito Bowl, Sheet Pan Fajitas with Lime, Holy Guacamole, and strawberry Aqua fresca with fresh Basil.

  • Virtual Mother's Day Tea

    The Windsor Public Library is hosting a special Virtual Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday, May 8 at 2:00 PM. Children of all ages are welcome to join their moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters or other special ladies in their life to enjoy tea, cookies, a craft, and more. Those who register for this event will also receive a Mother’s Day Tea Kit. Everyone who would like a kit (children and adults alike) will need to register for this program individually. Mother’s Day Tea Kits will be available for pick up Saturday, May 1 through Thursday, May 6.

    Registration begins April 1. Please register by 4:00 PM on May 6. In order to participate with Zoom securely, please register on our websiteat https://www.windsorlibrary.com/virtual-mothers-day-tea/. The Zoom link will be sent out to registered parties the day of the program.

  • Go, van Gogh!

    The Main Library welcomes Mike Norris to present Go, van Ghogh! Van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo that, as he had no children, he viewed his paintings as his progeny. Let’s explore some of these “brilliant children,” especially those at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This presentation will take place on Monday, June 14 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM via Zoom.
