  • Black History Month Pajama Story time

    Families and children are invited to join us on Mondays at 6PM in your 'jammies as we explore Black culture through story. Stories may be interactive and include light movement.

    Each story will be read by Ledisi Love Johnson from Mudcloth Cultural Arts Movement (bio below).

    Advance registration required. Please register for each session separately to receive Zoom link.

    March 1: Mumbet’s Declaration of Independence by Gretchen Woelfle

    Mudcloth Cultural Arts Movement is a collaboration of local gifted artist who have a passion for sharing their unique gifts and artistic talents for the benefit of restoring community value. They provide cultural arts programing in the form of dance and drum classes, youth mentorship in leadership/life skills training, and performances that promote physical and emotional wellbeing, social wellness, and increased community morale. In addition, they facilitate master workshops taught by international artists.

  • A Pleasant Pairing: Tea & Chocolate (Wilson)

    Join us on Monday, March 15 at 6:00PM for a fun, educational talk highlighting the history and health benefits of tea and dark chocolate (cacao) with insights from chocolatier Kim Larkin's of Klassic Kreations. We will discuss how to brew a proper cuppa and the tenants of the Tea Ceremony. 

    Registered participants will receive a take home kit with 2teas, 1 dark chocolate bark, and 1 molded chocolate. Sign up to receive your free kit today! Supplies are limited. Registration closes Friday, March 5.
