  • Mandalorian Escape Room

    Can you traverse the universe and hunt down bounties as the Mandalorian in our new Mandalorian Escape Room? We're celebrating May the 4th with a Mandalorian Escape Room. Successfully complete the escape room and send us a screenshot of the finishing page to be entered for a raffle to win a LEGO Imperial TIE Fighter kit! You have from 5/4 - 5/11 to complete and submit your escape room results! The raffle winner will be drawn on 5/12. FREE and for ages 7 - 18.

  • Welcome to Dungeons & Dragons: Geek & Sundry Intro

    Ever wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons but just have no idea what you're doing? Come to our D&D info session where our teen librarian will give you the low down on all things D&D. You'll get a brief introduction to game rules, character creations, and what the heck all of those dice are for. After, we'll have a watch party of a Geek & Sundry one-shot campaign to get your feet wet in the world of D&D!

    If there is enough interest, this event will be followed up with library hosted D&D sessions.

  • Crown of the Fae

    You can't oversee Elfhame or the fae alongside Jude and Cardan without a crown upon your wicked head. How is one supposed to rule with an iron fist without the fashion? For this month's Take-And-Make, we'll be making faerie crowns inspired by Holly Black's "The Cruel Prince" series.

  • The Magic of Polymer Science

    Polymer is a wonderful thing. It makes diapers and slime and rocket ships and so many of the other awesome advancements we enjoy in the 21st century. But how does it actually WORK? Grad students from the UMASS Polymer Science and Engineering Department will be showing us their labs, teaching us how polymer works, and guiding us through hands on science activities. This event will be virtual and kits for hands on activities will be available for pick up at the library.
